Payments & apps

Speed of payout is the usual yardstick for a payment method, yet checks decide it as much as technology does. This section follows money from account to slip and back again.

Bank transfer, Trustly and debit cards sit at one end, the wallets (PayPal, Skrill, Neteller) and prepaid paysafecard at the other, with Apple Pay and Google Pay between them. Crypto appears as a topic, as do £1, £5 and £10 deposit sites, instant withdrawals and betting apps.

Credit cards are barred for gambling, and have been since 14 April 2020. Name, address and date of birth are checked before any deposit, and a public-record check follows once net deposits pass £150 in a rolling 30 days. Betting winnings are not taxed for the player.
